March 2: Western Spirit Art Show
The 38th Annual Western Spirit Art Show & Sale will kick off with an opening reception on Saturday, March 2, 2019. This juried art show features over 400 original pieces of Western art from artists all over the country. The Art Show kicks off with an opening reception the evening of March 2. Held at the Old West Museum, Cheyenne Wyoming
May 4- June 2 PAWs Small Works
Once again we offer this outstanding annual show and sale titled PAWs to Celebrate or Phippen Award Winners: Small Works to Go, comprised of artwork created by talented award winners from one or more of the past 3 Memorial weekend art shows.
These amazing pieces will be on display throughout the month of May and can be immediately taken home after purchase. Held at Phippen Museum of Western Art in Prescott, Az.
August 2 – 22 Hold Your Horses
6th Annual “Hold Your Horses” will include more than 30 participating artists who were specifically chosen for this exhibition because of their ‘horse sense’ and outstanding ability to create Art of the Horse. Held at the Phippen Museum of Western Art in Prescott, Az.
August 18 – November 5th America’s Horse In Art
AHA- Over the past 11 years, top Western artists have been invited to participate in the show to present new paintings, drawings and sculptures in the Scharbauer Gallery. This year, they continue the tradition and celebrate 11 years of exhibition.
The signature piece for the 2018 show is a piece by artist Don Weller of Oakley, Utah. The piece is titled “Red Rock.” Weller, along with many of the contributing artists, will be at the opening, which is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on August 18 at the Museum. The event will feature live music, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Held at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in Amarillo, Texas.
